Alberta
Although the Alberta Ride for Sight Volunteer Team was unable to hold a Fundraising/Celebration Event this year, they did make Ride for Sight history. 2024 is the first year in Ride for Sight history that Alberta Riders and Friends, or any other Provincial Team, delivered more funds to Fighting Blindness Canada than Ride for Sight Ontario. Congratulations Ride for Sight Alberta, well done, and thank you Team!
Thanks to outstanding work with their Casinos in Calgary, the Ride for Sight Alberta Volunteer Team delivered over $76,000 to Fighting Blindness Canada, and Alberta Riders Cliff Lastiwka, Jerry Kubik, and Keith Andison, (all High Milers, all in a Top 4 Canadian Fundraiser spot) - delivered over $20,000 in donations.
